I’m part of a bike forum and we are getting involved in the Female Ride Day, as encouraged by Motorcycling Australia. To promote this we are putting together some flyers to give out to people to get involved and also to come along to the end point for women considering riding and to have a “Look & Learn” session where they can ask other women that already ride any questions they may have. -- Klara-- |

Last summer, at the voluptuous age of 59, I started riding my late husband's Yamaha. I especially like the idea of Women's Riding Day. Thanks --Jo-- |

Best Wishes from GREECE! While I never need any more excuses to ride my beloved Buttercup, it's great to know we are all celebrating riding on two wheels. I enjoyed a cappuccino at the beautiful fishing village of Piso Livadi, Paros, Greece.

Great weather in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon for Female Ride Day.
Its great to see that more women are riding their own. --Sharon Busse-- |

This is an awesome event. I think it's important to promote female's riding. I think the old way of thinking that you have to be "hard core" if you ride is so out dated!! Motorcycle riding is a sport that is now very diverse. --

It's great to have an event like this.
We had spent the afternoon setting up awareness booths in preparation for the Onion Fried Burger Festival in El Reno, Oklahoma. We finally finished and rode out to the S&S Bike Ranch Saloon for a drink, and then a long slow ride home!! --Terri & Ellen-- |
