Thousands of women from all corners of the planet took the road to participate in worldwide-synchronized event! - Last Friday, May 6th, thousands of female riders around the world celebrated the 5th International Female Ride Day and took their motorcycle or scooter to – “Just Ride!” From Vancouver to Cape Spear in Newfoundland, Los Angeles to New York, Paris, Paros, Budapest, Brisbane to Perth – and further, women riders celebrated! Historic Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Endorses International Female Ride Day. With its huge increase in popularity year after year, the 2010 International Female Ride Day has officially received the endorsement of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme known by most as the FIM, the international body that governs motorcycle racing and activities around the world. Ride The Austrian Alps with MOTORESS - Two prominent world wide motorcycling organisations have come together on a special joint venture for all women riders. From July 24 to 31, 2010, they will have the opportunity to ride through Austrian alpine scenic roads with the founder of MOTORESS™ and famed “International Female Ride Day”--Vicki Gray.
